October 7, 2011 Breaking the Spells of Limitation Launch
On October 7, 2011, Dusty Staub of Staub Leadership International and Wayne Gerber of Sungate Advisors launched their new body of work, Breaking the Spells of Limitation. The O'Henry Hotel in Greensboro, NC provided a beautiful setting and a delicious breakfast for the 2-1/2 hour seminar attended by seventy business leaders from the public and private sector.
During the interactive, experiential session, participants were introduced to the biology of belief and how limiting beliefs (spells) create unconscious blinders even when individuals intend to perceive, interpret and act upon data in a new way. Dusty and Wayne introduced their Dynamic Development Cycle, which contains the tools for change mastery, creativity, and leadership success the two have found most useful with their business clients. Attendees had an opportunity to reflect upon the guiding core purpose in their lives, and to work with an exercise in Rich Internal Dialogue as a resource for innovative thinking.
Graduates of SLI's Helping Individuals Lead Successfully, and selected others who have completed core leadership training, are invited to attend a two-day training diving deeper into the work of Breaking the Spells of Limitation. The first will be held January 6-7, 2012 in Greensboro, NC. In addition, a book covering this material is due for publication in early 2012.
